Izabela and Barthélémy celebrated their wedding twice – week after week, in Paris and Krakow.

First, the civil wedding in France, then the religious ceremony in Krakow, hence more Polish than French traditions at the event we organised and coordinated here in Poland.

Nevertheless, we couldn’t miss an aperitif, for which we planned a special highlight – a cruise on the Vistula river. Part of the reason behind it, was that the wedding coincided with this year’s Krakow stage of Tour de Pologne, the cycling race which paralyzes traffic across the city for one afternoon, and the river seemed the most logical way to avoid any road blocks. It seems we can thank the cyclists though, the cruise was a fantastic experience both for locals and foreign Guests and a wonderful sunset setting for the typical French cocktail hour.

As a result of celebrating twice, the Bride had two dresses, both stylish, yet simple and uncomplicated. Tres chic, one might say! Contrary to many other couples, Iza and Bart had no problem seeing each other before the ceremony, which allowed them to take some portrait photos even before all the Guests arrived and the official part of the day began. Thankfully they were able to relax and enjoy the session, which set them in such a good mood that not even the sudden maid of honour replacement seemed to worry them.

We wish all Couples were so relaxed, spontaneous, emotional and excited, it was such a pleasant wedding to be part of.
