They met in Australia, they live in Ireland, they got married in the Polish mountains, meet Máire and Mark.

It’s not common for a man to move halfway across the world to be with his love and during the wedding reception we got the feeling both families still haven’t lost hope that the lovely Couple will move again to be closer to one of them. It’s also not common for a Bride to play the guitar and sing on stage during her own reception, let alone the Groom joining her for a duo performance. Nor is it common that the Bride’s Father delivers a musical performance that moves everyone to tears as he sings „I loved her first”. This was a very special celebration and the exceptional touches don’t end here.

There was also the peculiar priest in the lovely wooden church, thanks to whom we could incorporate some beautiful but not typical music into the ceremony. There was the Tour de Pologne cycling race passing right in front of the church door in perfect coincidence with our ceremony ending, which almost kept us from arriving to the reception on time. There were a few paperwork issues along the way, with names being changed and documents spread all over the world. There were the two Bridesmaids, both sisters of Máire, both 7 months pregnant, a wonderful multi-generation Bridal Party.

Needless to say, despite the incessant rain and the cold temperatures in mid-July, this was a wedding we will remember for a long time. We wish Máire and Mark a wonderful life together, between Ireland, Australia and Poland.
