Rachel & Simon wanted to get married in Poland, because they love our country and they wanted their loved ones to experience it.

As the location for their celebration, they chose a historic castle in the Krakow area, but they kept it a secret until the day. Only the Parents knew where the reception would be held, the Guests only found out when arriving to the party, they were amazed and couldn’t stop wondering how the Newlyweds came across this place.

Although both Rachel & Simon are British, the food was traditionally Polish, the church wedding, although performed in English, also happened according to Polish rites. The English tradition showed in the speeches, the favours, but also the many Bridesmaids dressed in stunning golden dresses, matching the colour scheme of the wedding. We supplied matching stationery and decorations with elements of gold and glitter.

The castle was at its’ best after dark, when its’ many spaces shimmered with candlelight or shined with colorful illuminations. Even though the party was small and the day one of the hottest this summer, the last dancers left the dancefloor long after dawn.

This was an event full of glamour and shine – from the golden decorations and dresses, through the intense sunlight of an August day, to the glow we saw from the Newlyweds. We wish them only sunshine and happy days for the rest of their lives.
