Two Australians, a handful of guests and the best view in town.We keep saying that the size of the wedding has nothing to do with how beautiful or successful it is. Rachelle and Todd had to fly for almost 24 hrs to get to Krakow, along with them their closest friends and relatives, as well as a little one they were expecting and whose sex was revealed that evening. Pink confetti coming from the popped balloon left no doubt that in a few months a little princess would be joining the Newlyweds.

When we started planning this wedding, there was no baby yet, still it was clear we weren’t going to meet until shortly before the day. All decisions were made on a long distance basis, with the unvaluable help of Instagram, where Rachelle very efficiently sourced many of her vendors. We planned for an outdoor wedding, crossing fingers that the weather would play along and indeed it did. Still it was a bit surprising to hear that in September it’s Australians who come to Kraków seeking sunlight and warm temperatures.

Despite the small size of the party, we didn’t miss artistic impressions. First an instrumental duo performed, then a beautiful and talented violinist who grasped the guests’ full attention. Later at night, there were even a few dances. Rachelle had a clear vision of her decorations – we went for pastel pink, white and gold, a timeless combination. The Couple put great attention to detail, beginning with their own attier, down to the space arrangement or table decoration.

Small or large, a wedding should fulfill the Bride’s and Groom’s dreams and we’re convinced this was the case. Rachelle and Todd we wish you all the best and lots of love for the whole new family.
