Basia and Tyler decided to marry in an old castle. Together we planned their flamboyant Polish-American wedding for over 2 years, because when a Silesian girl says “yes” to a Californian boy, nothing is obvious.

The traditional pre-wedding Polterabend is just as obvious, as an informal brunch on the day after. The game of Oczepiny has just as many spectators as a nice game of frisbee, and there was definitely something to see with professional players attending the festivities! The American Guests have probably never before eaten a whole roast piglet at a bonfire and the Polish have probably for the first time ever heard personal vows, coming from the bottoms of the Newlyweds heards, filled with surprising confessions, sincere promised and emotion.

On the castle’s courtyard, we set up a lounge area, paths to the most important locations were lit up in the dark by handmade atmospheric lanterns. White&sapphire colored decorations, despite their wild character, intrigued with the unusual color scheme and perfectly played along with the twinkling fairy lights at the ceiling.

Day and night never got boring. After a hot afternoon came a storm, followed by a rainbow and the huge supermoon at night – lighting up the whole castle area in an unrepeatable way. Basia and Tyler, happy and in love, just kept on cherishing all of these moments, certain that as long as they are together, the world around them may do whatever it pleases. We wish them this kind of optimism, love and neverending adventure for their future life together.
