Justine & Robert – a wedding full of surprises and heartfelt moments with a view of Kraków’s Main Square

Some stories begin in the most unexpected ways. In Justine and Robert’s case, we planned every detail… without a single phone or video call. For months, we communicated exclusively via email – the couple lives in the US and wasn’t able to visit Poland before the wedding. We met in person for the first time just one week before the big day. And what a week it was – packed with food tastings, a makeup trial, and final arrangements. But from the very first moment, we knew it would be a wonderful collaboration.

Justine and Robert are a couple full of warmth, elegance, and trust. They put their complete confidence in us, and we did everything to make sure their wedding day was exactly as they had dreamed – elegant, emotional, and full of beautiful surprises.

The ceremony took place in the iconic St. Mary’s Basilica – one of the most breathtaking landmarks in Kraków. A priest from the parish led the service, creating a touching and intimate atmosphere. Although the couple had never met him before, they invited him to the reception dinner – a beautiful and thoughtful gesture of gratitude.

The wedding reception was held in a historic palace overlooking the Main Square – a venue full of charm and history. We created an ambient lighting design to highlight the beauty of the interiors and set the tone for an intimate evening. There was incredible food, heartfelt toasts, great music, and a vibrant energy that lingered long after the final dance.

But the true wow moment came at midnight.

Inside the palace, there is a small cinema – and that’s where we surprised the guests with something truly special. On the screen, a Same Day Edit (SDE) film appeared – beautifully edited footage captured and assembled that very day, showcasing the most touching and joyful moments of the wedding. The reactions? Tears, laughter, surprise… and a standing ovation. It was the perfect emotional crescendo, tying the entire day into one unforgettable story.
