Ray and Paul planned their wedding very carefully. As a symbol of their love they chose… magpies, who mate for life. It’s not often, that Couples feel like wedding rings don’t do justice to the life-long commitment they’re about to make. These two had two magpies tattooed (!) several weeks before. After such an experience, the wedding seems like just a formality, doesn’t it? Caramel magpies landed on the very unusual wedding cake too!
During the day, guests were surprised step by step as the programme unfolded: they stopped at a vodka joint, took a carriage ride, ate some snacks in a cozy pub, then they were invited to a tour of the salt mine and eventually to a sophisticated dinner in one of the underground chambers.
Although only the closest relatives were invited, the Bride had two dresses for the day and the decoration consisted of dozens of flowers. We’ve proven yet again, that size doesn’t matter so much and small weddings don’t have to be any more modest than huge festivities. We wish Ray and Paul a long and happy life together and we wish ourselves more Couples with such creativity and character.
