Karen and Michael and most of their guests came to their wedding from Australia.

Before they reached Krynica, where their wedding took place, they stopped in Croatia for a weekend of fun.

The trip from Australia to Europe was for many guests their first journey that long. For that reason, the celebration began almost immediately after leaving the plane. 🙂

For the first time we met with the couple just a few days before the wedding in Krakow. After finishing the last details, we all went to Krynica. From the very beginning it was clear that the wedding must take place there in charming mountain resort, the hometown of Karen’s Dad, in a regional restaurant owned by friends.

Installing suspended decorations and mounting ambient lights began the day before.

Especially for our Bride and Groom, the restaurant made elevated table tops to best display delicious Polish food and decorations. On the stationery and favours, we used the symbol of a pelican, not without reason. Pelican also appears in the name of the Groom.

The wedding took place on the terrace of a nearby luxury hotel. As part of our cooperation, we explored a few alternative locations, but this was the only one to offer enough privacy. It was a beautiful, sunny Thursday – everyone was in good mood from the very morning.

The groom surprised random pedestrians by going to the ATM barefoot;) Answering questions on why he didn’t put on any shoes, laughing he replied that he is Australian and that it is no problem 🙂

The marriage vows were touching and full of funny anecdotes. Right after the ceremony, the music of the folk band sounded, and the wedding guests’ wishes were combined with dances. There was also time for photos, champagne and excited waiting to start the wedding.The Young Couple and Guests came to the Inn with the sounds of well-known folk songs and a traditional greeting with bread and salt took place in front of the entrance.After a delicious dinner, the time has come for emotional speeches, films and presentations. Immediately after, the Young Couple started the dance part with the first dance. It was an unforgettable party JIt’s been a long time since we’ve seen such fantastic guests who danced on tables, benches and even on the main pedestrian walkway in Krynica People kept stopping, filming and congratulating our lovely couple. Karen and Michael, thank you very much for your energy, play and joy.
