For their wedding on Aug 2nd, Nan and Pawel invited Guests literally from all around the globe and so people from 5 continents joined them for celebrations.Unusually, the Couple was seated at table no. 8 – the lucky number in Chinese numerology. During the touching outdoor wedding ceremony, their Mothers lit up candles with emblems of the phoenix and the dragon, which were later used to light up the unity candle symbolising the new marriage. Further elements of Chinese wedding traditions included Chinese music during the aperitif and the wedding cake design, inspired by traditional Chinese attire.
The more western inspirations were realised in form of fine dining cuisine, contemporary music, decorative illuminations and white-blue-purple flowers. To make things even more interesting, the first dance was a hot merengue, probably for the first time ever performed by a Bride wearing the traditional Chinese Qipao dress. We’re pround and happy to have been part of such an exceptional wedding, we wish the Bride and Groom many happy days together.
