How romantic is it to get married in the very place you met your loved one, even though you live halfway across the world? Casandra and Jacek did exactly that as they invited their friends and relatives to Krakow, almost 10 years after falling in love while pursuing their degrees in Krakow’s renowned medical college.

For them, we managed to rent the very courtyard of their school, a beautiful historic setting with a bit of a mediterranean flair. The space became more contemporary and inspiring with the addition of modern garden chairs and lush floral arrangements highlighted with the extraordinary protea flowers.

One must say, the Bride had a tough job selecting her flowers, as the Couple weren’t able to travel to Poland even once over the course of preparations. We made all arrangements and decisions online, of which there were quite a few.

Casandra and Jacek made sure the Guests would have a great time in Krakow, getting to know the city as they had remembered it from years before. Activities lasted for almost a week, including rehearsal dinners, traditional Polish feasts, sightseeing, hiking in the Tatras and even little bits and pieces like 100 pcs of their favourite ice creams. This is also the first time we’ve seen a Bride and Groom jog in designated Bride and Groom jogging outfits, just a couple of hours before getting married!

On the day, the Couple proved they’re cool as cucumbers as some hail fell right upon the time when the ceremony was going to start, despite a totally calm and sunny forecast. We waited for a couple of minutes, then made the call to go ahead as planned and guess what, the weather had to give in. Later, they were rewarded with a golden sunset and even a couple of rainbows.

After a fine dining dinner menu and some truly emotional speeches, the dancing party started, with an incredible live sax performance and some deep house music, as requested by the Groom.
