NYC glam

On the map of cultures, we had the pleasure of working with at weddings, we just added another: Anna and Roger came to Krakow from New York, but the wedding was just as Polish, as it was American and Filipino, according to the country of origin of the Groom and his family.

During the touching Catholic ceremony, we saw the Filipino tradition of tying the Newlyweds together with a veil, passed on generation to generation, and cord – both symbolising their new strength as a couple and their unity. Two pairs of Sponsors joined the procession to the altar, chosen as protectors of the relationship, just like Godparents. In front of the wedding venue, we put the Filipino flag on the pole. Even the nearly 90-year old Grandma of Roger flew half the globe to see this!

The boisterous celebrations in Krakow, with Guests from around the world, lasted for 4 days. Beginning with fancy cocktail parties, through sightseeing, a rehearsal dinner with traditional Polish food, up to the fantastic reception. Ania, a volcano of energy, barely left the dancefloor in her stunning dress, only stopping by every now and then at the chocolate fountain. The evening spilled with joy, positive emotions and sense of humor, which surely helped Roger deal with the sudden, yet gentle wedding cake encounter, as his Wife decided to give him a facial treatment with it.

We will remember this wedding for a long time, mostly thanks to the positive energy of a Couple, who had it in them to trust us with their big day and only arrive in Krakow 3 days before the wedding to enjoy the results of the preparations and who also knew how to cherish every moment of this day, that only happens once in a lifetime.
