Minimalism, yet with a golden glow; geometry, but warm and inviting; a multitude of surprises, yet in full harmony;
Sha & Thomas allowed us to prepare a wedding exceptional in every way and truly memorable. Since the very beginning they emphasized the importance of the right location, characterised mostly by excellent cuisine. They both value Poland for our culinary traditions and they wanted to share what’s best about them with their Norwegian Guests.
At the same time, planning a symbolic wedding, they chose a location with fantastic views, in the very heart of Krakow. This ceremony won’t be forgotten by any of the participants, especially that the hot September afternoon was nothing short of a mediterranean location. Even though we were able to find a Norwegian speaking officiant in Krakow, in the end Thomas’ brother conducted the ceremony, making it so much more personal and touching. Sadly, we weren’t able to understand much of it, the only familiar sounds were the songs picked by the Couple and performed by the jazz duo of a guitar and a saxophone.
The decorations were inspired by simple geometrical shapes, displayed on the tables in form of metal cubes, paper origami figures but also the round and impressive monstera leaves, as well as succulents. From invitations to table numbers, the stationery was custom made, with matching colours and symbols. One of them also appeared on the wedding cake. The warm decorative lighting transformed the space from rather raw to glowing and created a truly magical atmosphere on the rooftop after dark.
As if that weren’t enough, the Couple decided to surprise the Guests by a breakdance show, which suddenly interrupted their romantic first dance. Another unforgettable attraction was delivered by a close-up magician, who spent a few hours with us making sure each Guest is charmed, amazed and entertained.
We already know that Sha and Thomas will be back in Krakow for their anniversary, surely we will also still look back on this wedding a year from now. Best wishes for the Newlyweds!
