A midsummer night’s dream

Dodano: 30.08.2016

Ewa and James met in Edinburgh and celebrated their Polish-Scottish wedding in Krakow. They made sure there were as many Scottish elements as only possible – including kilts, a bagpiper in front of the church, English hymns during the service, a ceilidh show during the night and a celtic music band. At the same time, they did justice to all the Polish traditions, with homemade lemon vodka, a spectacular cake in the trendy „naked” style and a blessing by the Parents right before leaving for church.

Parents on both sides were very involved in the planning process, their strong bond to their children was reflected in a particularly touching set of speeches. The Bride had a clear vision of the atmosphere she wanted to create in the dining room and with the help of our talented florists it indeed transformed into a wild lush garden. Greens hanging on the ceiling, white lanterns adding more lightness, very tall centrepieces and single flowers on the table surface – the decorations were thoroughly planned out on all levels to form a wonderful harmony.

Needless to say, the stationery also had a personal meaning and design matching everything else. We prepared custommade lemonade for the cocktail reception and also the dinner menu was customised according to the Couple’s wishes. The celebrations went far beyond just one day, with a dinner and sightseeing for days before, which we also helped organise.

Ewa and James said they might have been demanding Customers, but we feel it was only for the right reasons and their sophisticated choices only proved good taste. We love living up to high standards and for all we know, so it happened on this warm mid-August Saturday. Lots of love to the Newlyweds!
