Kasia and Martin had dreamt of a traditional Polish wedding in rustic style,

however their symbolic wedding accompanied by a gospel choir was far from the typical ceremony.

Once we found the perfect venue, capable of accommodating everyone in a stylish ballroom, but also in a hotel worth spending a few days at, we had no idea yet, that the wedding would have to be rescheduled, due to covid. It wasn’t any easier because of Kasia and Martin’s non-Europe residency as well as many of their guests arriving from exotic countries, where the virus situation was not always the same as here.

In the spring of 2021 a decision had to be made and these two were brave enough to say no to any more changes. Thankfully, they weren’t necessary and so Kasia and Martin said their vows in the attic of a wooden hut, surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Beskidy. At their ceremony, a gospel choir was singing, they had arrived from London especially for this occasion. This was a risk on its’ own, with mandatory tests at the time and potential quarantine, but this part of the wedding was not negotiable. The appearance of this particular choir was key to the dream that Kasia and Martin had in their hearts.

It wasn’t the only attraction of the night, by far. We watched a special video, showing the Couple’s life in Dubai. We watched and listened a live on stage performance by the Newlyweds, with Kasia singing famous love songs and Martin accompanying her on the piano. Guests had fun doing a quiz on the Couple via online app and they will never forget the absolute gem of party favours – a card game, invented and professionally manufactured by Kasia and Martin.

The kids (mostly, also adults) loved the candy bar filled with jelly beans. Additionally we had a generously equipped play area for the younger ones set up on the first floor, and a professional drink bar available for the older ones by the dancefloor. Outside, a photobus was waiting for customers, the area decorated with light bulbs loured many party people outdoors and allowed them to chill out for a while.

As usually, with weddings organised at venues like this, the party didn’t just finish that night, it also hasn’t started that day. Everyone enjoyed a brunch together on the next day, while in the preceding days the ladies enjoyed a local wine tasting and the gents spent some time on the nearby lake as well as exploring the extensive sports infrastructure at the hotel.

We will forever remember this fun crowd that loved to dance, particularly Martin’s guys going crazy to the sound of their favourite song. Our acquaintance with Kasia and Martin didn’t end with their wedding, we keep waiting for them to come back to Krakow for some more chupa chups. All the best!
