The 2017 wedding season is officially opened for us, and how..! With a spring meadow in the middle of winter, floating up in the air..

The Bride and Groom, this time anonymous due to their jobs, originally even planned for a November wedding. However, paperwork complications made us move the date to the last January weekend. As opposed to the usual situation, the number of Guests considerably rose in the very final days before the wedding, which resulted in a regular reception and celebration, contrary to the originally expected intimate and small affair.

The Bride chose an exceptional retro style look, inspired by the Victorian era. We’ve been searching for the right decoration concept for a long time, aiming to underline the winter season and correspond with it. In the end however, after several twists including a change of vendor only 2 weeks ahead, using flowers and light we created a fairytale pastel floral meadow, right in the middle of winter, floating above our heads and memorable for us and the Guests for long. To balance the rich ceiling decorations, for the tables we only used small floral arrangements in stylish pastel colours, but placed in innovative mirror containers, complemented by vintage mercury light candle holders. The shimmering flames of warm candlelight contributed to the exceptional and interesting colour combination, achieved at a fairly low cost.

The wedding cake was decorated by a modern caramel sculpture, inspired by winter plants and ancient graphics. Finishing the party at midnight could also be considered extravagant by Polish standards, but not so by American ones, which we incorporated due to the Groom’s heritage. Days in winter are short, we began the celebrations quite early and so the “Round midnight” piece sounding as the final song of the night was no disappointment to anyone.
