Fawn and James said „yes” on their 10th anniversary, in Krakow which was their first destination together. James’ grandma was Polish, so there was also ancestry involved in the wedding planning. And as the anniversary conveniently fell in the Christmas-New Year’s eve break, it seemed very clear that this event would be romantic and magical.

For Guests’ convenience we planned the ceremony at the reception location, to avoid any stress related to unpredictable December weather. At the same time, we didn’t want to entirely miss out on potential advantages of a nice winter day, so we planned an open-air welcome cocktail – mulled wine and hot cider kept everyone warm. Light bulbs and open flame heaters added the necessary glow.

The wedding decorations were of course inspired by Christmas, the whole room fragrant with conifers, the colour scheme included green, gold and burgundy. Candles added warm light along with two floors high light curtains. The stationery was  made by children – Fawn’s nieces and nephews and as favours the guests received meticulously decorated Christmas eggs. It’s quite likely that the personal handwritten notes attached to each box were even more precious than the eggs themselves.

Fawn and James decided not to have a traditional wedding cake, instead they offered their Guests some traditional Polish food – barszcz and pierogi.

We congratulate the Newlyweds to this fabulous event and we wish them a wonderful life together.
